Judging People
You say that you don't want to be judge from your outward appearance yet you judge others before getting to know them. Why is that? Is it society's fault? Who knows. Yes, appearance is something you notice, but is it that important that you would loose a possible best friend over? Or maybe even your future husband? Yes, when we look for a guy, looks are on top. I know that I say, "looks isn't everything, personality is way better". That is true, but honestly, if you had to pick between a very attractive guy who is an ass, or an unattractive person who is the sweetest thing ever, who would you pick? Don't try to deny it. Most of you would pick the ass. Why do we have it ingrained in our minds that looks is everything. I can't say that I would pick the unattractive guy, because I would be hypocritical. Yes, you would be in awe of how sweet he is, but because he isn't up to your "standards" he is automatically crossed off your list. Judging people is like second nature to everyone. As much as you try to deny that you don't judge someone, you do. If someone wears something you don't like, or something "weird" you are automatically judging them without giving them a chance or getting to know them.
